The purpose of the British Society for Medical Dermatology is to promote academic and clinical interest in the practice and study of medical dermatology as well as collaboration between dermatologists and other medical specialists with the goal of improving the care of patients.

MEMBERSHIP
Currently membership incurs only a small charge and includes advance warning of future meetings and associated meetings, access to the mentorship and fellowship programmes as well as our regular newsletter
TRAINEE AWARDS
BSMD 2022 Trainee Award applications closed 28th Jan 2022). Two fellowships are awarded annually to UK and Eire dermatology trainees (including post CCT fellows). Each award will be funded up to a maximum value of £2500.
